Archetypische Aufstellungen
Juni 15 @ 9:30 am - Juni 17 @ 7:30 pm
Meet the archetypes
Just as the body is composed of physical organs, the psyche is composed of psychic organs, the archetypes.
Each archetype has its own characteristics and functions, with specific qualities, specific shadows and a specific personality. Through the Theory of the Archetypes and Archetypal Constellations we will embark on an inner journey to recognise, manifest and integrate the first 4 Archetypes (Innocent, Orphan, Warrior and Caregiver).

How we work
The course alternates between theory and practice. The theory will introduce the first 4 Archetypes (according to the theories of C.G. Jung, Joseph Campbell and Carol Pearson). These are Innocent, Orphan, Warrior and Caregiver.
The practice will focus on Archetypal Constellations during which archetypes are represented and put into scene. This allows to identify any blockages and entanglements preventing their full manifestation. Constellations also allow you to identify key themes, needs and talents for each archetype.
For C.G. Jung, archetypes are the unconscious psychological inheritance of all humanity. The personal unconscious already contains „a priori forms,“ which are part of the collective unconscious. Through their symbolic function, they allow us to transcend from ourselves and proceed in the process of individuation.
What we offer
1 presentation open to everyone, free of charge: discover the world of archetypes
2 days group seminar alternating theory and archetypal constellations. The seminar will focus on the first 4 Archetypes.
This seminar introduces the person to the intensive residential work of the Hero’s Journey held at La Città della Luce. According to Joseph Campbell and Carol Pearson, our life can be considered in the same way as a Heroic Enterprise and is marked by twelve fundamental archetypes each of which corresponds to an evolutionary stage.
Hero’s Journey Structure:
Preparation for the Journey (ages 0-28)
Innocent: confidence in oneself and life, enthusiasm (0-7 years)
Orphan: autonomy and practical sense (7-14 years old)
Warrior: courage, strength and resourcefulness (ages 14-21)
Caregiver: tenderness, respect and care for oneself and others (21-28 years)
In the first stage of the Journey, the ego must first structure itself to learn to live in the reality in which it finds itself. In particular, from the development and integration of Innocent and Orphan we derive security. From the development of Warrior and Caregiver we get responsibility.
The purpose of this early stage of life is to break away from the bonds of the family of origin, to move beyond the family loyalty, be grateful for everything received, and learn to go one’s own way.
The Journey (28 – 56 years)
Lover: love, passion, empathy (28-35 years old)
Seeker: curiosity, ambition, lucidity, introspection (35-42 years old)
Creator: creativity, imagination, visualisation (42-49 years old)
Destroyer: non-attachment, ability to let go of the past (49-56 years old)
At this stage, the goal is to experience and to find out in life what was missed in the family of origin, and then build one’s own family of choice.
The Return (56 – 84 years)
Magician: vision of the invisible bonds of reality (56-63 years)
Ruler: command, responsibility, order, justice, peace, abundance (63-70 years)
Wise man: awareness, truth, overcoming illusion (70-77 years)
Fool: joy, freedom, fun (77-84 years)
The Return is about building one’s own kingdom and queendom, realising all the potential we have been given and putting it to use for ourselves and others. Ultimately one returns to oneself, feeling satisfied, strong and powerful no matter what the external conditions are.
